Wow

OK, I don't know whether to attribute this to the fact that I haven't slept more than three hours all week, but that was hilarious. ^_^

RupeeClock responds:

Wait, how many hours?

Goto sleep man, that can't be good for you. :P

Oh, and thanks!

Not bad at all.

I actually laughed out loud a couple of times. (Especially the conversation with Frito Lays representatives)

Few things I'd like to point out:
-- Voice acting: amazing. The only problem was the occasional static burst, which really sounds like a problem either in the microphone or with the plug-in into the computer. :/

-- Graphics: the opening thing with the storefront was pretty cool, and the characters were drawn well enough to fit the seriousness of the piece. The only problem I saw was lack of overall movement. The script salvaged that, but again, I like to see stuff move around :P

-- Humor: Like I said earlier, I laughed out loud. That's good, especially because I don't have all that good a sence of humor. You get a high five for that *high five*

Overall: 4/5, nice work, I'm waiting patiently for episode 3.

lol

Very well done Red. I'm truly impressed.

Happy Clock Day

Thanks comrade, glad you liked it. Happy Clock Day.

You've done it again

Well, needless to say Decline 3 was as good as originally expected. Maybe even better. I laughed out loud at several parts especially the Metroid cut scene (My Powerups!) so true....

The only thing I didn't like that much was the sound. The voices were often too quiet and the explosions too loud, I had to keep my mouse on the volume control thingy the entire time, trying to guess when the loudness would be. Then again that's probably just my crappy speakers...

If you do end up making Decline 4 (not that I'm pressuring you or anything...much) I very much will look forward to it.

Well, you beat me

Congratulations on getting your first saved sumbission onto Newgrounds before me. It wasn't all that bad, though it seemed to be based on a conversation we had in AP Euro this year. Then again, all my best ideas come to be during school as well. (Someone DID accuse MF of shooting archduke Ferdinand, right?)

The beginning was rather boring. The opening into text was far too long, especially for people who can read fast. Perhaps you can put on a fake British accent and introduce the video before reverting to the old 1920s style video. There was little motion on screen, which did kind of piss me off. If you are going to do a movie with little talking, then the motions must compensate. The clouds were actually moving at a good rate, but you should speed up and exaggerate the motions of the tank operator to catch the humorous fastness of early film.

RiotGearClock responds:

I don't think we accused MF of shooting franz ferdinand, it was more like, "Shut up musty, your franz ferdinand" or something like that. Anyway, thanks for the in depth review. Thanks for warching.

Another Hit

I don't know how you do it, but you've improved on BK2. I like the new Sci-Fi theme, and the light sabers were a great touch (which reminds me, Revenge of the Sith is out tonight). I pray Volume 2 is out soon, I can't stand cliffhangers...

Quite enjoyable

I personally loved it. That's the bottom line here, so I'll hop right into individual scores.

Graphics -- They were stunning, especially your backgrounds. The trees with the snow on them and the Northern Lights during the ending credits were quite realistic.

Style -- Sometimes it's good to tell a story with little dialog. This was one of those times. A peaceful tune with a touching story really set a relaxed mood.

Sound -- I did have a little trouble hearing the introduction. I know that it is not such a major factor because I do not understand Sweedish, so maybe that attributed some, but the music was clear and the perfect volume. :)

Violence -- Not much to say here, the snowball fight at the beginning was pretty funny, though.

Humor -- Obviously this piece wasn't meant to be a comedy, but a few parts still brought a smile to my face. The scene when Nim untied the feed rope for the horse and flew up with it was cute.

Overall -- Wonderful movie. I fully enjoyed it, and I feel relaxed after watching it. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Wow, I'm rolling

Seriously, there's not a thing in this animation that isn't true. Especially with the automatic flushing toilets. Have you ever noticed that whenever you reach for toilet paper, the autoflusher will flush? It flushes like 7 or 8 times everytime I'm in there, yet all the other stalls seem to be dead quiet when occupied. There has to be some sort of method that I can't grasp.

Not Bad

I must say the Flash ability at DHC has improved 5-fold since I first saw some of your stuff almost a year ago. This movie was OK. The beginning was pretty funny, but after a while it did get tedious. It was pretty obvious you were trying to be funny in the end.

Graphics were OK. I see you used a seperate movie clip symbol for mouth movements. The Super Flash Bros. have an awesome tutorial on their site that details how to do lip syncing effectively. I'd check it out.

Style. It was a lot like a school lecture, which I guess is what you were trying to obtain. I don't like school, and I don't lectures. There are several other school project Flashes that aren't lectures, try that style next time.

Sound was clear, the mic did make that annoying static sound occasionally when air hit it (usually when John spoke), try covering it with a thin cloth to prevent this.

Not much in the way of violence, why is that even a review criteria?

Humor. Again, it seemed a little strained at the end. In the beginning it seemed smoothe, but most of your jokes were sophmoric. (At least that's what my underwear says)

Overall, I'll give you guys a 6/10. Keep improving, I look forward to more.

IceKeyHunter responds:

Heh. John came up with the underwear joke. It's the only joke he wrote himself.

Twisted, perverse... I love it

I enjoyed your first Bunnykill movie very much, so when I heard Bunnykill 2 had been released and won daily feature, I was excited. A bit of violence is always good, especially between fluffy bunnies, which added a bit of obscure humor to the whole thing. I'd say this one, while some of the scenes are a little less realistic (from a human POV, obviously this entire thing is impossible with bunnies) than in the first, the impossible situations just added to the drama and made me, on several occasions, cheer for our 'hero'.

Overall, excellent work, can't wait for BK3.
